WE LIVE IN TIME PREMIERES IN POZNAN!

The world premiere of the film took place in Toronto, after which the film was presented in the selection of the BFI London Film Festival. The Polish premiere of WE LIVE IN TIME is presented in the British Film Festival programme.

Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield are the star duo in a sensitivity-filled romantic story about two people who, although they met by chance, changed their lives forever. Almut (Pugh) is an aspiring chef who, on the day she signs her divorce papers, hits Tobias (Garfield) with her car at night. Irish director John Crowley (BROOKLYN, 2015) takes us on a decade-long journey that harks back to the golden age of British romcoms, capturing the highs and lows of a relationship. 

On the surface, we get a tale of attractive, occasionally foul-mouthed Londoners falling for one another. In keeping with the rule of relationship dynamics, things are not always easy. The characters will have to face the challenges life throws at them.

The film’s non-linear structure, blending present-day events with flashbacks from key moments in the couple’s journey, offers a clever, refreshing narrative that delivers the full spectrum of emotions. Undoubtedly, this is the most electrifying on-screen pairing we’ll see this year.

Following its world premiere in Toronto, the film featured in the BFI London Film Festival selection, and now WE LIVE IN TIME  is set for its Polish premiere as part of the British Film Festival.
