When the fairytale land is threatened by an evil witch in the form of a ruthless representative of a property development company, the team of protectors of the kingdom will do everything to thwart her plans. The film is a reminder that no matter what age you are, it's worth nurturing a child's imagination and bravely fighting for what's important.
ROBIN AND THE HOODS, directed by Phil Hawkins, is an engaging cinema coloured by magic, full of humour and fan-made references to fantasy classics. The simplicity that introduces a touching note of nostalgia is also a strength here. Every scene proves that the creators had a great time on set. Outstanding young actresses and actors shine alongside Naomie Harris, Gwendoline Christie, and Mark Williams.
It is worth mentioning that, to reduce the harmful impact on the environment, the production was based entirely on sustainable and eco-friendly solutions, which perfectly reinforces the film's message of being responsible for the world around us and caring for future generations who will be able to discover their fairytale kingdoms.
